Refurbishment Requirements

Engine

1. Engine Compartment

Engine Compartment will be thoroughly cleaned, the powerplant assembly removed, and all associated components including lines, hoses, harnesses, filters, heaters, pumps, etc., to allow preparation for installation will be removed or protected.

The engine compartment area must not have any cracked, warped, or otherwise damaged components repaired or replaced, new undercoating applied, insulation replaced, and the following new OEM-approved components installed.

  • Intake air filter, water filter including shut-off valves, fuel filter, hydraulic filter incl check valve, breather level switch.

  • Air intake restriction indicator

  • Air intake temperature and pressure sensor

  • All hoses, clamps for all systems (including CAC, compressor, hydraulic, coolant, flexible air intake, etc.)

  • Coolant

  • Hydraulic fluid

  • Engine mounts

  • All heavy-gauge cables incl starter, alternator, battery

  • Voltage regulator

2. Engine Assembly

Remove the engine and install the Reman B12 Engine, including but not limited to the following components (as applicable):

  • Wiring harness

  • Engine Rebuild Kit

  • Lines, hoses, fittings, and clamps (including intake and exhaust)

  • Alternator

  • Starter

  • Air compressor

  • Fluids

  • Belts, pulleys, and tensioners

  • Oil cooler

  • Water pump

  • Injectors

  • Turbo

3. Engine Enclosure and Supporting Components

Remove the engine and install the Reman B12 Engine, including but not limited to the following components (as applicable):

The removal process entails dismantling the specified components to facilitate:

  • Inspect Hoses, Bellows & Clamps

  • Replace Engine Motor Mounts & Fasteners

  • Replace Engine Cradle Bolts

  • Replace Belts (Water Pump, Alternator)

  • Replace Air Compressor Belt

  • Replace Air Filter/Air Intake System

Inspect other parts and Intake Piping for Contamination and Leaks.
